Jennifer Seniuk

My name is Jennifer Seniuk & I am a Western Canadian Artist.

 

 

 

I have a degree in General Humanites: English, Art & Religion & will be graduating December 2016 with my Masters in Art Therapy and a specialization in Counselling. Ever since I was small, art has always been a huge part of my life. I have learned over the years that art is a powerful form of communication when words are not enough.

I have worked with many mediums, from sculpture, to welding, to wood work, 35mm photography, to painting and everything between. Learning as much as possible has always been my goal. I continue to work on perfecting my photography skills, both film and digitally. However, my main focus and style is oil and acrylic paint with mixed-media collage. I am working to improve my realistic style but favor a more abstract approach.

My inspiraton stems from Roy Lichtenstein's popart, travling the world & things that are not conventionally considered "beautiful". Art has become a voice for my soul.
